PANGEA is a Drum & Bass club night that was the culmination of the meeting of minds of two DJ's, Special Ed and Professa Fresh, and two artists, Jzy and Jekt, way back in 2004. Drawing influence from the combined elements of underground music - everything from punk rock, hip-hop, breaks, reggae, dub to Drum & Bass, our policy is good vibes as standard and this is something we've achieved from day one.

Life for us began in the Red Vodka Club in Edinburgh, where we picked up the final member of the crew MC Troubla. After a heavy year of rocking Edinburgh, PANGEA made a new home in Dundee, where you can find the same party atmosphere every month as we smash up the Reading Rooms. Now three years into the journey we've found a second home in Glasgow at the Art School (after a brief stint at The Barfly) and once again we've torn up the rule book and blown the place apart.

Each month PANGEA residents Special Ed, Professor Fresh & MC Troubla are accompanied by raw, talented DJs from across the Scottish D&B scene - to a backdrop of live art from residents JZY & JEKT. If you've been down to PANGEA, you know what we're all about: good vibes and big tunes.
